Is Your Provider Credentialing Still Working for You?
A Quick Credentialing Health Check for Healthcare Practices
For
those of you that bill insurances, we ask Brandy to make sure you know
all is in order. Some of us do not use insurances but many of you do
and we want you to have the correct information, so you get paid!

Credentialing isn't a "set it and forget it" process. Even small changes
within your practice can delay claims, interrupt cash flow, or cause
you to be paid incorrectly, or not at all, if your enrollments aren't
updated.
Use this quick checklist to determine whether it's time for a credentialing review, correction, or update-
Credentialing & Enrollment Checklist
Have you joined a new group practice, created a new Group NPI, or started using a new DBA?
Has your practice changed bank accounts for EFT payments?
Have you added a new office location or relocated your practice?
Have you hired a new provider?
Remember: There is no grace period for billing under another
provider's NPI. Proper enrollment should be completed before claims are
submitted.
Are claims processing out-of-network when they should be in-network—or vice versa?
Have
insurance carriers in your area changed their participation
requirements or introduced new enrollment opportunities that weren't
previously a priority?
Have
you missed recredentialing or revalidation deadlines, or noticed slower
claim processing, payment delays, or reduced payer responsiveness?
Don't Wait Until Revenue Is Affected
Many
enrollment issues remain hidden until claims begin denying, payments
stop arriving, or reimbursement is delayed. A proactive credentialing
review can identify problems before they impact your revenue cycle.
At Rapid Credentialing, we specialize in helping healthcare providers with the following:
- Provider credentialing and payer enrollment
- Group and individual provider enrollments
- Practice location and demographic updates
- EFT, ERA, and EDI enrollments
- Recredentialing and revalidation assistance
- Enrollment troubleshooting and claim-related enrollment issues
Whether
you're opening a new practice, adding providers, expanding locations,
or simply want confidence that your enrollments are accurate and up to
date, we're here to help.
