Donating blood just Once Can Save Lives, Including Your Own

Giving blood is an act of kindness for others and it could even help save your life, too in the knowledge gained and by reducing the thickness that can exist.
 
1. You could or should Get a Blood Health Checkup at least every 6 months. Not to see is not to know!

The report received back from OHS is insightful and instructive for the doctor and patients. It gives the needed nutritional recommendations for your convenience.

A shocking discovery was published in the American Journal of Epidemiology:

Donating blood just once a year can reduce the risk of a heart attack by up to 88%.  Health wise, you could give blood every 2-3 months.

Periodic drawing the blood helps to reduce the thickness of your blood, which reduces the friction in the blood vessels and supports healthy blood pressure. It also lowers high ferritin levels if they exist.
 
Those on testosterone replacement should definitely donate blood as testosterone produces more cells, which increase the viscosity or the blood as it becomes thicker.

Just contact your local Red Cross center and schedule a quick appointment. I do it every two to three months.  You have to wait at least 56 days between donations.
