Providers - here is your friendly reminder to make sure your CAQH profile is up-to-date and attested. CAQH must be attested every 120 days to avoid downstream impact to your enrollments, billing and collections.

This important portal is your provider screening hub, where multiple payers pull data periodically to validate provider eligibility for continued access to payer networks.

Missing the CAQH attestation will result in an inactive or expired CAQH profile. An incomplete, inactive or expired CAQH provider profile can:

- Cause delay or denial in credentialing/enrollment
- Cause pause or denial on claims and reimbursement for networks and/or individual payer plans
- Prompt complete termination of Medicaid and/or other network contracts
- Prompt provider contact information to be removed from online networks and directories

Importantly, most networks do not grant leniency for neglected compliance requirements such as CAQH update and attestation. This means an impact on multiple areas of your practice, possibly to include patient relationships as well!
