April 13, 2026 - Your Breath & Breathing Is as Important as Your Nutrition

Your Breath & Breathing Is as Important as Your Nutrition
Breath directly impacts:
- Oxygen delivery to tissues (Bohr effect)
- Enzyme activity and metabolism
- Nervous system function and brain blood flow
- Muscle function and performance
- Mineral balance and bone health
- Mitochondrial Resuscitation
The fastest way you can assist the body in all of these processes is through your breath. It costs you nothing and you don’t have to buy anything. You have everything you need with you at all times.
CO₂ acts as an acid in the body, so when acidity rises, your breathing increases to expel CO₂ and restore balance. This is why breathing patterns have a more immediate impact on your internal chemistry than even food.
During Super Seminar and Homecoming 2027, I will be sharing the exact process and science behind using your breath to influence pH, sleep, digestion, and more. In the meantime, I want to give you techniques and methods you can start using immediately.
BrainTap has many of the techniques that have been proven from around the world. So, if you have BrainTap, start using their breath applications. Just type in Breath in your search bar to locate them.
In case you do not have BrainTap and want to get involved, here is a link you can go to: Here is a link for the 30 day trial and or the Yearly Payment option, which I use myself for ease of access:

With BrainTap or without, to get started, use the VAGUS NERVE breath pattern. Dr Porter refers to his rendition as the VNB01-AM Vagus Nerve Breathing. With out without Dr Porter, put your tongue at the roof of your mouth. Use the pattern 5,6,7 format. Breathe in through the nose with your tongue at the top of your mouth for 5 seconds, and hold the breath for 6 seconds, and then release the breath through your mouth for 7 seconds.
It is so easy and so profound to stimulate the Vagus nerve, which is huge in overall health and wellness. The Vagus nerve is the longest nerve in the body. It runs from the brain to the mesenteric plexus all the way to the bottom of the abdomen. It affects ever cell in the body. There is constant communication from the brain to the gut and back again.
Vagus nerve damage of dysfunction can cause:
- Difficulty speaking
- Loss or change of voice
- Difficulty of swallowing
- Loss of gag reflex
- Low blood pressure
- Slow heart rate
- Changes in digestion
- Nausea or vomiting
- Abdominal bloating or pain
- Depression and anxiety coupled with breathing problems or heart disease
Give this Breath Pattern a try for you and your patients. I go to bed and wake up to start my day with Vagus Breathing.
For Breath and Breathing: NUTRITIONALLY- I WILL CHECK FOR Opti-Adrenal, Opti-Lung, Optimal Oxy Pure, and Opti-Immune VRL.
