Dr Marc Harris on Stem Cells
I
have been injecting stem cells for over 30 years. I began by
extracting bone marrow cells or adipose cells then processing them into
stem cells in a lab I set up in my office. The cells worked great, but
we always had to prescribe opioid pain killers as the extraction process
created 1-2 days of significant pain. They were also much less potent
than we have today. The processing in my office took about 1 hour of my
time and I never trained someone else to do this as it was very
technical. 20 years later I came across prepared stem cells from the
umbilical cord and our Whole World got better.
This was state of the art and stem cell companies were few and far
between. Then though some legal wrangling a company I liked, was forced
out of business. We then used what we could find. Many companies and
doctors were shut down due to exaggerated claims (true or not).
Right now, stem cells are approved for (by the FDA) for Leukemia,
Lymphoma, some other cancers, osteoarthritis, and Crohn’s disease. The
FDA also states that Doctors can use medications off label at their
discretion. Like most stem cells they are labeled for experimental
use. Just as they always have been. If you do not have any of the FDA
listed conditions, you will be included in a one-time, Private Management Association (the lifetime fee will be included in the injection cost).
As they were approved for osteoarthritis, it seemed they would be good
for any joint pathologies. Additionally, when we injected joints, we
saw other non-joint issues clear.
In 2012 Shinya Yamanaka and John Gurdon won the Nobel prize (in
Physiology or Medicine), the Nobel committee lumps Physiology and
Medicine together. I speak about the Yamanaka factors in Methylation
lectures. Basically, the Yamanaka factors MYC2, OCT4, NANOG, SOX2 and
KLF were found to change committed stem cells (multipotent) into
pluripotent stem cells, which is the best of all worlds.
A primer on stem cells is about 8 days after conception we form
Totipotent stem cells. They can and will become everything else,
including a placenta. A few days later we will have Stem cells from
endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm. We have/had Pluripotent stem cells.
These can be anything except a placenta. If you have a SNP in any of
your Yamanaka factors or you are older than when you were an embryo, you
can’t turn a multipotent stem cell into a pluripotent stem cell. The
point here is the early stem cell use was via embryonic stem cells
(multipotent). In many ways the placenta grows like a cancer cell until
day 55 of embryology. So, these cells could cause cancer. That is what
scared the Government. That perceived problem is no longer any problem
at all with the cord blood stem cells we use.
The cells we had available previously were derived from endoderm,
mesoderm, of ectoderm. Usually, it was Mesoderm. From Mesoderm we
derive muscle, connective tissue, some of our skin, kidneys, gonads, and
spleen.
As of about 2024 we now have stem cells that are treated via CRISPER,
Cas9 via the Yamanaka (and Gurdon) factors to induced pluripotent cells
(iPSCs). This is the best of all possible worlds. Based on being
pluripotent they should be better for virtually every health condition,
without any risk of cancer.
Surprisingly, these newer induced pluripotent stem cells are
cheaper to produce then what we previously used. They will be available
at Brimhall Homecoming 2026. Most people will need 1 vial. The cost
per vial will be $3,500.00. This is 40-50 % less than in previous
years.
If a person has a comprehensive problem, and needs two vials, the cost will be $6000.00
The injections will be between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm (possibly 4:00 pm, if needed).
Call Jason at Brimhall Wellness 480-964-5198 to schedule your injection for Thursday, January 22, 2026.
