| Learn a systematic approach to identifying and treating the cause of dys-ease, not disease. The body is network of interconnected cells and systems. You cannot isolate a single factor of causation in most patients and get needed results treating with a single therapy, single nutrient, or single adjustment. The World has too many stressors and toxins for a hole in one. You must look at the whole body and bring balance into each cell, organ and system by an integrated holistic evaluation and treatment. Saturday |
| 9:00 am - 10:00 am | Chronic stress yields adrenal exhaustion and the GAS (General Adaptive Syndrome), which underlies many chronic degenerative conditions and recurring subluxations. Causes, nutritional and structural support will be discussed, with specific research cited and case histories reviewed. |
| 10:00 am - 11:00 am | The underlying causes of the subluxation complex in relation to metabolic disorders, thyroid dysfunction, and the role of toxic metals, toxic halogens and iodine will be illustrated. |
| 11:00 am – 11:20 am | Break |
| 11:20 am - 1:00 pm | The hypothalamus-pituitary command center will be reviewed, with structural, nutrient and laser treatment discussed. The cranial nerves, brain balance, toxic influence, nutrient support, detoxification and the relationship of craniosacral, spinal and TMJ treatment will be evaluated. |
| 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Lunch |
| 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm | Inflammation as a major factor in recurring vertebral subluxations and chronic degenerative dys-ease will be documented. Lowering CRP and other inflammatory markers will be reviewed with before and after blood tests using specific nutrition and structural correction. Toxic metals and detoxification procedures will be illustrated by reviewing hair analysis for toxic metals. |
| 3:00pm – 4:00 pm | Metabolic Syndrome and (Obesity + Diabetes = Diabesity) as major factors in recurring spinal fixations/subluxations and underlie or complicate the three main causes of death in America: heart disease, cancer and diabetes. The research, diet, and nutrient support will be discussed with lab tests reviewed and results demonstrated. |
| 4:00 pm – 4:20 pm | Break |
| 4:20 pm – 5:20 pm | Manual and instrument adjusting will be taught with the use of the ArthroStim and Percussor instrument. Correction of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine as well as pelvic correction and resolution of disc involvement will be reviewed and supportive nutrition discussed. Spinal, craniosacral and visceral manipulation will be demonstrated. |
| 5:20 pm - 6:00 | Comprehensive nutritional review using the current literature for prominent conditions of the day. Review of potential nutritional, dietary and structural support to assist the body’s natural “Innate” healing for belly fat, obesity, blood sugar regulation, diabetes, ADD, ADHD, TMJ, fatigue, inflammation, acute and chronic pain. |
| Dr. Brimhall's "Six Steps to Wellness Workshop" One-Day Course Objectives 2015 |
| Course Title: “Create a Comprehensive Nutrition Practice, Looking at the Whole Person” (One-Day) Dr. Brimhall’s Six Steps to Wellness Protocol |
| Time Requirement: 8 Hours (with twenty minute breaks, morning and afternoon). |
| Prerequisites: Licensed Practitioners, their Staff and Students |
| General Purposes (Goals) of Course: Disease care is the fastest growing failing business in America. People are demanding a holistic and complete approach to healthcare. We will approach evaluation and treatment stating DC stands for Doctor of Cause and not the treatment of disease |
| Course Objectives: |
| 1. Learn a systematic approach to identifying and treating the cause of dys-ease, not disease. The body is network of interconnected cells and systems. You cannot isolate a single factor of causation in most patients and get needed results treating with a single therapy, nutrient, or single adjustment. The World has too many stressors and toxins. You must look at the whole body and bring balance into each cell, organ and system with a whole system approach. 2. Discuss professional and ethical responsibilities of Practitioners in the whole person approach to healthcare. Evaluate the many possible causes and multiple corrections of the vertebral subluxation. Static and motion palpation will be used in evaluation and correction of subluxations. Teach Practitioners to integrate nutrition into their practice by using effective patient evaluation, thorough case history, observation, physical findings, lab evaluations, education and proper recommendations. 4. Discuss health is a balance of: structure, diet, nutrition, detoxification, exercise and stress reduction. We will teach manual and instrument adjusting that is easy on the patient and the doctor for correction of subluxations and global spinal change. Spinal curve restoration and correction of discs in the cervical and lumbar spine will be covered. 5. We will demonstrate the holistic approach on class participants. Diagnose the need, treat the positive findings and show the response to structural, nutritional and reduction of stress techniques. We will demonstrate the percussor and adjustor in structural correction and fascial release. We will also utilize cold level laser in therapy. 6. We will teach to use proper case histories, observation, evaluations, and multiple forms of examination, such as blood chemistry, saliva, hair analysis for toxic metals and muscle response testing 8. We will discuss specific case histories, the evaluation used to determine the course of action, show the therapy utilized and review posttests demonstrating the results. 9. We will review how organ involvement, inflammation, blood sugar imbalance, obesity, food/environmental allergies, mitochondrial resuscitation problems, etc. can be factors in recurring subluxations. We will review nutritional support, diet, exercise, correction of fascial deformation and scar tissue in causation and reoccurrence of the vertebral subluxations. |
