Michael Kessler, D.C., C.C.S.P: Will cover: How to understand, make recommendations and educate the patient on needed care for all Six Steps through Heart Rate Variability testing. You will gain insights on what causes and how to correct subluxations, nutritional deficiencies and how to measure vascularity with the Angio Scan and make improvements for the patient by knowing the causes and the best treatment plans.
 
Westin Childs, DO: Course Outline: He will speak to preventative medicine through the functional medicine framework and working in an integrative practice. He will cover advanced bio metabolic testing, lipidology, blood sugar balance, bariatrics and weight management, utilizing hormonal balancing. He will discuss hormone replacement as well as anti-aging therapies.

Joshua Berka, ND: Dr. Berka's focus is primarily in family medicine, including advanced approaches for the care of acute and chronic disease as well as alternative and complementary treatments. He will discuss biophysics, including the application of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF) in research and clinical practice. He will elaborate on the Bemer Wave Therapy and how it can be used in practice and by the patient at home.

Alan Bergquist, DC: Dr. Bergquist will be covering: several hot topics and areas of common concern. This includes Medicare participation and rules. He will define “Medical Necessity”, proper use of ABN forms and other financial waivers, etc. He will also discuss Revenue Cycle Management and cover need-to-know topics such as proper patient discounting, patient and insurance payment management, common ICD-10 errors, pre-payment policy guidelines and how to successfully implement new services. Finally, he will cover hot off the press information pertaining to healthcare compliance and HIPAA Security in particular. This is information that you can't be without moving into 2016 and beyond.
